2026-2030 (5 Year Strategy)

Examples:
job-search support, resume help, recruiter connections, basic mentorship for job seekers.

Theme: Getting people employed.

Year 2

Skills & Professional Development

Build capabilities for those who are already working.
Focus on technical upskilling, leadership development, and practical career growth tools.

Theme: Growing skills, not job searching.

Year 3

Mentorship & Long-Term Empowerment

Establish structured mentorship programs for both early-career and mid-career professionals.
Support long-term career progression, confidence-building, and professional stability.

Theme: Ongoing guidance, not skills training.

Year 4

Business & Entrepreneurship Support

Introduce support for entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small technology businesses.
Programs may include business advisory circles, expert sessions, startup support, and peer groups.

Theme: Supporting business creation and growth.

Year 5

Chapter Expansion & National Integration

Expand to new chapters across Canada and integrate services nationally.
Standardize offerings, unify branding, and prepare MUTCAN for a sustainable, multi-chapter model.

Theme: Scaling across Canada.

Partnerships & Outsourcing

To expand MUTCCAN’s ability to deliver value without creating heavy organizational overhead, partnerships and outsourcing will be integral across all years of the strategy.

Collaborate with aligned organizations, nonprofits, educational institutions, and industry associations.
Partner with companies and recruiters for job fairs, mentorship, and career development programs.
Outsource certain operational or event-related activities when external partners can deliver them more effectively.
Leverage partnerships to scale impact nationally without requiring extensive internal infrastructure.
Ensure partnerships maintain MUTCCAN’s values, quality, and community‑first approach.

This approach allows MUTCCAN to stay lean, scalable, and focused on community outcomes.
